Want bipartisanship in state boards? Find good candidates or apply for this one!

Apply to be a member of the Quality Growth Commission

We were successful in killing bad bill HB 11 – which would have removed partisan diversity from many state boards and commissions.  Now is the time to ensure that diverse perspectives are represented on these boards and commissions.  In particular, the Quality Growth Commission is looking for candidates to fill 10 positions SOON! This board deals with environmental and other issues. Some members must meet the following criteria:

  1. From private or non-private affiliation
  2. Democrat or Independent
  3. From outside a 1st or 2nd class county (must be from somewhere other than the four Wasatch front counties)
  4. No experience necessary, just an interest in conservation issues
