The State Legislative Session runs for 45 days starting on January 22. During this short window, our part-time state legislators make all decisions about amending and creating new laws and balancing the budget. Ordinary people can impact these state policy decisions and make a difference for our families and communities on issues like healthcare, clean air, climate conversations, voting policy, suicide prevention, poverty reduction, affordable housing, family prosperity, domestic violence prevention, childcare, renewable energy and more!
But you can only impact the issues you care about if you know what to do and when to do it.
Impacting bills sometimes means acting quickly when the time is right. Don’t miss your opportunity to support a bill that matters to you!
