The Senate Finance Committee wants your comments on the Graham-Cassidy bill NOW!

September 22nd, 2017|URGENT Action|1 Comment

Earlier this week, Senator Hatch announced that the Senate Finance Committee would convene a hearing on the Graham Cassidy healthcare proposal on Monday, September 25th at 2pm ET, saying:

“Senators have expressed a strong desire to examine the details of the Graham-Cassidy proposal through a public hearing,” Hatch said. “A hearing will allow members on both sides of the aisle to delve deeper into its policy and gain a better understanding of what the authors hope to achieve.”

Members of the Senate Finance Committee are accepting public comment. Let’s help them “examine the details” of this healthcare proposal and why even Republican senators and governors oppose it, along with insurers, hospitals, doctors and patients.

Why are you wasting so much time on this horrible bill? The only answer for American healthcare is Single Payer or Universal healthcare – Medicare expanded… The world’s other civilized countries have it or some form of it. Canada’s plan would probably be the best for us to follow. For it to be a success you must get the huge profits of Big Pharma and Big Insurance OUT OF THE PICTURE! Let them insure something else – not our humane right to live!
