Bring high-quality preschool to low-income Utah children (HB 380)!

HB380, “Utah School Readiness Initiative Amendments,” sponsored by Rep. Brad Last, is the continuation of many years of hard work by the United Way of Salt Lake, Voices for Utah Children, and other community stakeholders to improve school readiness.
The problem: 6 out of 10 low-income children in Utah are not kindergarten ready in literacy standards when they start school.
The solution: HB 380 will strengthen the proven Utah School Readiness Initiative — a pay-for-success program that has served over 4,000 low-income, at-risk kids to date — by expanding the program so more children can access high-quality preschool opportunities.
HB 380 will get a vote in the full House in the next few days. Please take a moment to ask your legislator to vote YES on HB 380!

Preschool must be open in every city for higher education. Children’s learn lots of things from the preschools like games, mind sharp, manners etc. Thanks.
