Join the Day of Action for Net Neutrality in Utah (5/14)

In December, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) voted to repeal net neutrality. The good news is that there’s a resolution moving through Congress that would completely overturn the FCC’s repeal and restore net neutrality. It only needs 51 votes to pass the Senate, and it already has the support of 50 senators. Right now, Team Internet is focused on securing the last Senate vote needed to restore the free and open internet. But time is running out — the vote on the Congressional Review Act (CRA) bill to restore net neutrality will get a vote within the next few weeks. That means this is your last chance to ask Sen. Hatch to vote yes on the CRA!

Why is net neutrality important? Without freedom of the internet, giant corporations like Comcast are able to censor and slow traffic at will. Find out more about net neutrality here.

  • Call Senator Hatch’s office and ask him to vote yes on the CRA to restore net neutrality.

Sen. Orrin Hatch (202) 224-5251 (DC) // (801) 524-4380 (SLC) // (801) 375-7881 (Provo) // (435) 634-1795 (St. George) // (801) 625-5672 (Ogden) // (435) 586-8435 (Cedar City)

  • Join the Day of Action on May 14th at Sen. Hatch’s SLC office. On Monday, May 14th, Team Internet is organizing an event outside of Sen. Hatch’s Salt Lake City office to urge him to become the 51st vote needed to pass the resolution to restore the free and open internet.
