ALERT!!! At Interim Session on Wednesday, July 18th, the Revenue and Taxation Interim Committee will consider voting on a proposal that would fund Intergenerational Poverty (IGP) EITC (Earned Income Tax Credit)!
A state EITC would give 25,000 working Utah families a meaningful tax cut to help lift them out of the cycle of poverty and improve independence and health and education outcomes. Help Utah become the 30th state to pass EITC to reduce poverty in a lasting way!
