On Wednesday, state legislators will hold the final Interim Session day of the year, with final committee meetings before the State Legislative Session begins in late January.
Action Utah will be there, as always, hosting a Tour & Talk for community members to show you around the Capitol Campus, teach you basic advocacy skills on how to impact policies and bills, and spotlight our topic of the month: poverty and housing advocacy. June Hiatt from the Utah Housing Coalition will join us for this important discussion.
Please bring a bag lunch and join us over your lunch break! Or catch a committee meeting on your own. The Capitol is truly “the people’s house”, and all meetings are open to the public – live or online.
