Voter registration and turnout were up in the 2018 midterm elections. Bravo to those of you who worked hard to make sure your friends and neighbors were registered and got out to vote!
Now that you’ve had a few days to rest and reflect, may we present a new challenge to you?
- In 1980, Utah ranked 5th in overall voter turnout. In 2016, Utah ranked a dismal 39th.
- According to Nov. 2016 U.S. Census data, there are 288,000 women in Utah who are citizens but unregistered to vote.
