The goal of the Action Utah Education Fund Election Team is to educate and mobilize voters to register to vote and cast informed ballots. We accomplish that in two ways:

    1. ELECTION RESOURCES:Voter Guide“, “How to Become a Delegate“, and “How to run for office at any level of government” are just a few of our election materials that are available to the public on our website.
    2. ELECTION PROGRAMS: Voter Pledge, #KnowYourVote, and we partner on the Voterise 2020 Challenge.

AUEF LEADERSHIP PROGRAM

Projects included developing policy, lobbying, outreach, researching the issues and producing white papers for advocates and lawmakers, building coalitions, producing resources and tools, creating programming. People like Ajay, who researched and pitched a bill to lower healthcare costs by creating a medical pricing transparency tool and Zoe who developed that bill and lobbied to get it passed unanimously at the 2019 session. Like Maya, a high school senior who spearheaded a pilot program for project #KnowYourVote.

0
people graduated as our first cohort from our Advocacy Bootcamp.

A 5-part training course, Advocacy Bootcamp was created to help Utahns advance their goals in policy, advocacy and candidacy. Community members coming out of our programs are running for office, starting nonprofits (see Utah Childcare Cooperative and Fair Utah).
