It’s 2019, and with the dawn of a new year comes the opportunity for community members to get engaged! Why? Because your voice matters.
The 45-day State Legislative Session begins on January 28th! That’s when our state legislators will come together to debate, amend, pass or fail bills addressing the issues Utahns care about most. YOU can help shape and pass these policies and initiatives — and Action Utah can help you.
Why should you care?
Elections may be over, but ballot initiatives passed in 2018 are at risk of repeal and amendments during the upcoming State Legislative Session. Plus, legislators are considering important bills that impact Utah’s top issues, like healthcare, air quality, education, suicide prevention and strengthening families. Legislators need to hear from you to help them make these important policy decisions!
Action Utah makes it easy for you to take simple but meaningful actions during the Legislative Session so your voice can get heard.
