Last week, Cottonwood Heights became the fourth city in Utah to commit to transitioning to 100% renewable energy by 2032, breaking out as a leader in emissions reductions to help clean up the air along the Wasatch Front and address climate change. Action Utah is proud to have been a part of the effort to develop and pass the resolution. Thank you to all our members who took action to support the policy!
Utility providers in Utah are working hard with cities like Cottonwood Heights to help them achieve their renewables goals. Technology advancements and decreasing costs have made resolutions like this more achievable than ever to address community concerns about health, economics, air pollution, quality of life and climate change.
