The Utah legislature continues to grapple over an alternative proposal to Prop 3. Today two articles were published suggesting that Prop 3 is more affordable than some legislators suggest and that SB 96 is more expensive than Prop 3.
An alternative proposal has been put forth by Prop 3 supporter, Rep. Ray Ward (R-Bountiful) to reduce expenses within Prop 3 without reducing access to health care for any Utahns. This terrific proposal closes the Medicaid gap and reduces costs.
It’s time to speak up to ask legislators support HB 210: Medicaid Expansion Program Revisions!
