After voters passed Prop 3 to fully expand Medicaid last November, legislators replaced the new law with a more limited expansion that covers people who earn up to 100% of the federal poverty level (around $12,492 for an individual) and are between the ages of 19 and 64. The program includes some caps and work requirements and requires a series of waivers to fully implement.
The first waiver was approved for the “bridge” program to ensure coverage would begin April 1st, but many Utah residents may not know if they are eligible or how to sign up. 70,000-90,000 Utahns can begin enrollment today – help them get the healthcare they need!
