Last week at a town hall and on social media Utah’s Congressman Rep. John Curtis admitted that he believes climate change is real and that man is influencing it. That means Congressman Curtis has taken a brave step ahead of his party and in line with the vast majority of Utahns on climate change.
Statements like these are not the easiest for politicians to make and must be applauded, not ridiculed, to encourage more elected officials to speak up about climate change and begin to look for bipartisan climate solutions — such as carbon pricing and the Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act currently being considered in Congress.
Let me shock you. You ready? The climate is changing and man is influencing it. https://t.co/jXT2HsPAV2
