September 30 – October 6 – Utah Climate Week. Mark your calendar for Utah Climate Action Network’s week of events to inspire events and conversation around climate change issues in Utah
Oct. 2 – Oct 4 – Mountain Town 2030 Net Zero Summit. Park City will host this 3-day conference for invited city and local governments to learn how to commit to “zero” by 2030.
Thursday, Oct. 3 – Mayors’ Town Hall for Stewardship of the Air and Climate at Albion Middle School in Sandy. The mayors of Millcreek, Cottonwood Heights, and Sandy, joined by professors of Atmospheric Science and Environmental Law, and student activists, will voice their thoughts concerning the challenges of cleaning our air and preserving our climate for the coming generation.
Tuesday, Oct, 8, 7:00 pm – Utah Council for Citizen Diplomacy’s Carbon Pricing, Bipartisanship & Democracy with Mark Reynolds at Westminster College. Learn about three bipartisan carbon pricing bills currently in Congress.
Oct. 11 – Oct. 13 – Utah Youth Environmental Summit at the Wasatch Mountain Lodge in Brighton. Engaging young people into the environmental movement in Utah and empowering them to campaign for a better and sustainable community that we all deserve to have.
