One of the unfortunate consequences of social distancing and stay at home orders for coronavirus has been a spike in domestic violence incidences in Utah.
As the Utah Domestic Violence Coalition stated, “Self-isolation is necessary to help prevent the spread of #COVID19; for people experiencing domestic or intimate partner abuse, staying home may be unsafe.”
If you or someone else is in danger, call 9-1-1 immediately.
