5 Reasons to participate in Interim – THIS WEEK!

September 14th, 2020|Action of the Week|2 Comments

Each month between May and November state legislators come together for an “Interim Session” to study issues and policy proposals facing our state and draft legislation.

Interim is being held virtually on September 15-16 this month, which makes it a great opportunity to witness our State Legislature in action and participate from home to make an impact. Interim committee meetings are held throughout the day and are open to the public. We invite you to participate!

  • Go to our Interim & Special Session Hub and check out “What is Interim?” to learn the basics or to get our “September Interim Action Guide” to help you find out what meetings are happening, how to listen in live or later, and how to provide public comments

I don’t know exactly how this works, but I noticed they are talking about the police issue tonight. I want to put my two-cents worth if that’s how this works – and pray they will give the police MORE money, not less. Thanks!

Hi Carol, the virutal discussion around police reform is this evening at 7 p.m. You can RSVP here: act.betterutah.org/event/policing-reform-panel/14 to watch and ask questions. A video of the event will be uploaded to watch later, if you can’t attend tonight.
