The 2020 election is less than two months away, and candidates are in a critical time to reach voters — but getting the word out in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic poses an unusual challenge. That means candidates in all races likely need more help than ever in 2020. YOU can take action to help candidates you support to cross the finish line!
What you can do
Here are multiple ways you can help candidates of your choice:
- Volunteer – Contact your candidate and offer your help. Candidates may need volunteers to call voters, put out yard signs, post mailers, or even host Zoom parties with friends. Find out what your candidate needs and offer up your time!
- Offer your public support – Use social media as a megaphone to express support for your candidate (please consider asking your candidate the best way to message your support to ensure you are truly helping their cause!).
- Donate – Candidate campaigns have constant expenses, with higher costs in 2020 for expensive phone banking and mail campaigns to reach voters during the pandemic. A donation of any size can help, and there is no campaign contribution limit for individual donors.
- Pledge to vote in 2020 – Commit to voting for your candidate in the Primary and General elections by taking the 2020 Voter Pledge – and encourage others to do the same!
